About Aretech

We Build AI Workflow Systems Boutique Law Firms Own

Aretech is a team of engineers and operators that builds custom AI workflow automation for boutique consumer bankruptcy and estate planning firms. Every build runs on your stack, passes your attorney's review, and becomes your firm's property.

Our Focus

Why We Build for Boutique Law Firms

Aretech builds only for boutique consumer bankruptcy and estate planning firms, because their flat fees reward every hour a workflow saves. A flat fee for a Chapter 7, a Chapter 13, or an estate plan stays the same when the work takes longer. So every hour the workflows absorb stays with your firm.

What we are

Among law firm AI companies, legal automation companies, and AI consultants for law firms, Aretech is a builder of firm-owned systems, not a software subscription. The AI systems for law firms that our team builds always follow three layers, in this order.

LAYER 01

Data Layer

Your practice-management system, petition or drafting software, storage, and phones agree on one record per client.

LAYER 02

AI Agents

Custom AI agents for law firms read that record and work to your firm's own rules.

LAYER 03

Automated Workflows

The document chase, intake capture, and first drafts from your own templates run end to end.

Five operating principles hold on every build

Ownership

Your firm owns what we build.

Your stack

The system runs on the software you already have.

Hosted models

Hosted frontier models do the AI work.

No subscriptions

There are no seats and no renewals.

Attorney review

An attorney reviews everything, and nothing the system builds signs, files, submits, or decides anything legal.

That makes these AI agents for lawyers a capacity tool, never a legal decision maker.

Aretech is AI for boutique law firms. The fit is specific.

The builders

Who Builds Your System

You meet the people who do the work, by name.

How far a lawyer must go to check an outside service depends in part on "the education, experience and reputation of the nonlawyer".

The engagement

Who You Work With at Each Stage

You work with the same Aretech people from the first session to handover, plus a lead engineer during the build. Each stage names who leads it or what it produces.

  1. Workflow Mapping Session

A free conversation about your firm and its one constraint, then a whiteboard of your current process and the future state in three layers. The workflow map is yours to keep.

  2. Scoping and the Technical Plan

    Led by Jihad

Jihad maps what gets built, in what order, on which of your systems.

  3. Kickoff

    On our side
    • Pratyush as your day-to-day contact
    • Jihad leading the build and demos
    • A lead engineer
    On your side
    • A day-to-day owner
    • The reviewer who defines what correct looks like
    • The partner who authorized the project
  4. Build

A weekly demo that is "30 minutes of working software, not a status report".

  5. Handover and Maintenance

Documentation at handover, then maintenance for up to 60 days, customized per engagement.

A question we hear

"I Need a CTO That Is Separate From the Developers"

On the Aretech team, the builder and the checker are never the same person, and that covers AI-generated work an engineer supervises. Every component goes through internal review and QA. Your firm then signs it off before the next component starts.

Proof

How Can Your Firm Verify Our Team and Method?

You can check every claim on this page before you commit. The proof sits in four places.

01How we run a project
02What the system will never do
03How we score tools
04What we build in your practice
01

The Engagement From First Session to Handover

The Aretech engagement runs in fixed stages, from the workflow mapping session to the maintenance window. Agreements come before kickoff, the build runs in components, and a propose-only pilot with QA comes before handover.

Each stage is laid out step by step in our guide to how a firm automation project is delivered.

02

The Red Line Written Into Every Agreement

Aretech's implementation agreement lists what the system will never do.

The system never
  • Files anything
  • Signs anything
  • Takes a payment
  • Contacts a court or trustee
  • Makes a legal decision

An attorney approves what leaves your firm. The system lives in your firm's own cloud account. Hosted frontier models do the AI work, so client content passes through the model provider's API.

Per-firm isolation is written policy, and no firm's data trains anything.

The full data path and its controls are on our page about law firm automation data security.

03

How We Score Law Firm Automation Tools

Aretech scores each tool and approach that firms ask about on a published rubric. That rubric is built on what matters most to boutique law firms, and our CTO is one of the evaluators.

We publish the method for how we evaluate law firm automation tools.

04

What We Build in Your Practice

Bankruptcy Law Firms

The document chase, intake capture, and first drafts around your Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 checklists. Those workflows know the document classes your pre-filing team handles every day.

You keep your petition software, and we automate around it. The system never prepares or files a petition: your attorney reviews and files.

  • First drafts of your wills and trusts from your own templates

Questions

FAQs

Is Aretech a Law Firm?

No, Aretech is not a law firm, and it gives no legal advice. Aretech is a technology company that builds workflow systems for law firms. An attorney reviews everything the system produces, and nothing it builds signs, files, submits, or decides anything legal.

Is Aretech the Same as a Similarly Named Company?

No, Aretech is the company at aretech.ai that builds custom AI workflow automation for boutique law firms. It is unrelated to similarly named robotics and data-science companies.

I Also Don't Want to Pay for a Learning Curve. Have You Built This for Firms Like Mine?

Yes, Aretech builds only for boutique consumer bankruptcy and estate planning firms, from practice components we reuse across firms in each practice. Those components include bankruptcy document classes and chapter checklists, and estate intake with staff-only and attorney-only sections. Our CTO also brings 47+ enterprise AI implementations to every build.

Everybody and Their Mother Has an AI Agency. How Do We Know Who Is Actually Building Our System?

You know because you meet the builders by name. Pratyush, our CEO, is your day-to-day contact. Jihad, our CTO, leads the build and runs the weekly demos with a lead engineer. Their verified backgrounds and LinkedIn profiles are on this page.

We Went Through This a Couple Years Ago and Ended Up With Nothing. How Is This Different?

Aretech is different because you see working software every week, and your firm signs off each component before the next one starts. We map any system someone else already built for your firm first, and we treat earlier claims of completion as claims, not facts.

What Happens if Our Builder Leaves?

Your firm keeps the system, because it owns the code, data, workflows, and documentation we hand over. Any developer your firm trusts can extend it. Maintenance runs for up to 60 days, customized per engagement, and afterward integration fixes and new software come back to Aretech.

Do You Work With Big Law Firms?

Aretech's builds are designed for boutique law firms in consumer bankruptcy and estate planning. That focus fits flat-fee matters, the firm's own stack, and the attorney's review on every draft.
